Upcoming Dates

* Tuesday, January 25th: Room 8 Fire Station Field Trip – yay for sunny weather!
ALL KINDERGARTENERS IN ROOM 8 COME FROM 9:00AM – 12:20PM!
We will be walking to the Cupertino Fire Station and we will get a tour from the firefighters! Please come to school at 9:00am. Wear your red shirt and a jacket. Please bring a snack to school still and sharers can prepare their sharing. You do not need your backpack or daily folder. Thank you to our chaperones: Sujata (Shaunak's mom), Anushree (Aishwarya's mom), Lana (Caroline's mom), Akiko (Yuko's mom), Maria (Ewan's mom), Jungmin (Jimin's mom), and Lisa (Vivian's mom).

* Friday, January 28th: Penguin Day – Wear all black to school
We will be doing some penguin activities and crafts. Come dressed as a penguin!

* Tuesday, February 1st: January Monthly Homework Due
Thanks for working with your child on the different activities of the month. These are good family activities to enrich what we learn in the classroom. I will send home the February monthly homework in the homework envelope that week.

* Monday, February 14th: Valentine’s Day Party
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by exchanging cards. Every child must prepare Valentine cards for every student and bring them to school on Monday. They can be homemade or store-bought cards. It is ok to add candy or sweets since we will not be eating any of it at school. Here is a list of all the students' names in our class. Please have your child write: To: (student name) and From: (your child’s name) on each envelope and prepare 32 cards (including one for themselves if they’d like).
