Apologies for those of you who tried to purchase books over the weekend. I forgot to activate the catalogs until Tuesday, so if you had problems, please try again. It works now! Sorry for the inconvenience!
1) Please go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs
2) Log in with your own username and password. If it is your first time, you need to enter our Class Activation Code: GQ68Q
3) Browse books online and pay with your own credit card!
4) Books will arrive at school 2 weeks from our due date and I will send them home!
Please try to order your books online. Our class earns free books with online purchases. Thank you!
If you prefer not to order online, you can return the order form directly to me with ONE check payable to Scholastic Book Clubs. Please hand it to me in the morning by Tuesday, January 18th.
* Thursday, January 20th: Family Craft Night from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
PTO is hosting this event for all of you. Come join the fun if you are available that evening!
* Tuesday, January 25th: Room 8 Fire Station Field Trip
ALL KINDERGARTENERS IN ROOM 8 COME FROM 9:00AM – 12:20PM!
We will be walking to the Cupertino Fire Station and we will get a tour from the firefighters! Please come to school at 9:00am. If it ends up raining hard on that day, we will have to cancel and reschedule. Most likely, we will just need to plan on wearing our jackets over our red shirts to stay warm! Miss Morgan and Mrs. VanDick’s class will go on separate days, so please do not get confused with their dates. Permission slips are attached to today’s newsletter. Please bring a snack to school still and sharers can prepare their sharing. You do not need your backpack or daily folder.
