Last week was filled with lots of fun because of Halloween celebrations! We decorated our classroom with streamers, pumpkins, witches, and bats and on Wednesday we had a school parade then a party afterwards. Thanks to all the parents who helped to contribute food for the party and also helped set and clean up the party! For many students, this was the first Halloween celebration, so I hope you had a great time trick-or-treating and learning about jack-o-lanters!
Now it is November and we have many holidays coming up to learn about including Thanksgiving and different winter celebrations around the world! If you have anything from your culture that you would like to share about, please email me and we can set up a little presentation to the class if you would like.
Happy November!
